High-Amp Circuit Protect (for sPOD Systems)
When higher current (amperage) and circuit protection is required, sPOD's new Hi-Amp Circuit Protection is the answer! Our standard "mechanical type" circuit breaker has a high limit of 50 amps. Our new Hi-Amp Circuit Protection can handle up to 80 amps! We call it a "Duty Safe" Breaker. The term "Duty Safe" comes from the concept that optional electrical accessories added to vehicles normally do not run 100% of the time. However, when they are running, they can draw high currents. So our duty cycle concept circuit breaker is needed in those applications.

No mechanical parts or contacts to wear out.
The breaker is "self-healing" so no replacement is required.
Because it works thermally, if there is an actual circuit fault, it doesn't reset until the short is fixed, which can prevent wire damage.
Allows up to 80 amps of draw before shutting off the system.
Breaker is fully integrated into the positive power cable.
